About Landen’s Lawn Care LLC

Ten miles north of Highland, Lake Michigan decides a good deal: the wind that pushes in cool off the water, the gray that hangs around a morning longer, the late frost that keeps April honest. Landen's Lawn Care LLC waits that out and then goes, Saturdays first, into yards where winter left the grass matted and pale. Mowing, string trimming, edging along walks and drives, clippings swept off so the concrete looks the way it should. There is a moment mid-cut when the color turns and the lawn wakes up green behind the mower — that moment is the point of the entire job. Highland is the base, with runs out to Griffith, Munster and Schererville.
