B & D Mowing Service

About B & D Mowing Service

Late in a Hartford City afternoon the light goes long and gold across the ball diamonds, and the town the gas boom built settles back into its brick and its shade trees. B & D Mowing Service works the back half of the day, mowing while the heat lets go and the swallows come out over the outfield. The work is simple and it is exact — deck set high enough for August, the pattern turned so the grass leans a new way each visit, the trimmer run tight along foundations and fence lines. Clippings come off the drive before the truck moves on, every time. What a family sees at supper is a yard that looks tended rather than merely shortened, and in a town this size that difference gets noticed.
