About Advanced Lawn and Pest Control

Hamilton wraps around its lake, and in July the wind comes off the water all afternoon and moves through every yard on its way to the corn. Advanced Lawn and Pest Control keeps those Steuben County lawns in trim through the long green middle of the year — the narrow cottage strips near the shore, the deep yards up the rise, the wide ones out where town gives way to field. Lakeside grass grows heavy and fast with that much moisture in the air, so the cut has to come around on schedule to stay ahead of it. Mowing, string trimming, edging and clearing the clippings off the drive: plain work, done regularly, which is the whole of it. On a still evening the mowing lines run right down toward the water and stop clean.
