About Sims Lawn Care & Snow Removal

Snow reaches Greenwood in the dark, usually, riding down out of the northwest while the town sleeps under the sodium lights. Sims Lawn Care & Snow Removal is out in it at four in the morning, pushing drives open and clearing walks so a car can back out at seven without anyone giving it a thought. There's a specific pride in a finished drive at first light — black pavement, banks pushed back square, the path clear from the door to the curb. Come April the same rhythm turns green: grass cut, string trimmed, edges run tight along the walk. Two halves of one year, both of them about a place being ready to use.
