About Primary Grounds

Six-fifteen on a Monday, and the lots along County Line Road are still empty enough to work in. Primary Grounds handles the green edges of places like these — mowing the open turf, trimming around light poles and curb islands, edging so grass stops where the concrete begins. Greenwood's north end is a working seam where the city runs into the county, and grounds kept in order there do something quiet and useful for how a whole block reads. The mowers are usually loaded and gone before the first cars turn in, leaving nothing behind but the smell of cut grass. That is the arrangement, and it suits everybody.
