About Greenwood Lawn Service

By late August the field edges have gone gold, and the light comes in low and sideways across the yards. That is the hour Greenwood Lawn Service likes to finish on — the last cut thrown long, the shadow of the machine stretching out ahead of it down the lane. Grass slows in that stretch of summer, so the work turns toward detail: a tighter trim line, a cleaner edge where turf meets stone, the beds swept back to bare soil. When September turns the maples, the same yards need the leaves moved before they mat down and smother what was grown all season. It is unglamorous, patient work, and it leaves a place looking cared for from the road.
