Hoovs Lawncare

About Hoovs Lawncare

Every June, Greentown fills up for the glass festival, and visitors come to see the chocolate glass and golden agate that were made right here in town. That is a week when every front yard on the way to Main Street is quietly on display. Hoovs Lawncare mows toward that week and keeps going long after the tents come down, cutting on a rhythm the grass can count on through the warm middle of the year. Late afternoon is a good time to see the work: stripes laid even across an open yard, trimmer lines clean around the mailbox posts, nothing scattered on the concrete. A small Indiana town looks after itself one lawn at a time, and this is one of the hands doing it.
