Mayhugh's Lawn & Trees

About Mayhugh's Lawn & Trees

Old shade trees change the way a yard grows. Under a big maple the grass comes in thin and slow; out in the open it runs away from you, and one lawn can need both approaches in a single pass. Mayhugh's Lawn & Trees takes on Greensburg yards with that in mind — mowing, trimming close around trunks, roots and beds, edging the walks, and clearing everything off the drive at the end. Late-afternoon light comes down through those canopies in pieces and travels across a fresh-cut lawn all evening. It is the kind of yard meant to be looked at from a porch chair, which is exactly the point.
