About A cut above mowing
Dew sits heavy on Decatur County grass until nearly nine in the morning, and the first pass of the day leaves a dark wet track behind it. A cut above mowing works those early hours around Greensburg, where the section roads run straight as ruled lines and every yard eventually meets a field. The work is mowing, string trimming, and edging along walks and drives, with the clippings blown off the concrete so the sidewalk reads clean from the street. There is a particular pleasure in the moment the last stripe closes and the whole lawn turns one direction in the light. By the time the sun is high the mower is two houses down the road, and the first yard is already drying into the pattern it will hold all week.
