About C & C Lawncare Co. LLC

Fog sits low over the Ohio River most summer mornings in Greendale, and the mowers are already moving before it lifts off the bottomland. C & C Lawncare Co. LLC works the whole shape of this valley town — the flat, generous yards down near the floodwall and Tanners Creek, then the steep little lots that climb the hillsides toward the ridge roads, where a mower deck has to be walked as much as driven. There is real satisfaction in the stripe left behind on a river-bottom lawn, and in the trimmed line where turf meets sidewalk on the old streets running toward Lawrenceburg. When the sycamores let go in October and the leaves drift up against porch steps and fence lines, the cleanup work starts over, yard by yard, until the ground is bare and tidy for winter. It is ordinary work done carefully, in a town that has always lived between the water and the hills.
