Hassler Snow & Lawn Services

About Hassler Snow & Lawn Services

DePauw's campus sits right up against downtown Greencastle, close enough that a walk from the quad past the old courthouse crosses the same few blocks students and townsfolk share year-round, and after a winter storm those sidewalks need clearing before either group starts moving. Hassler Snow & Lawn Services works those in-town blocks first, then follows the roads out past Robe-Ann Park toward the quieter residential streets where Big Walnut Creek runs along the edge of a few backyards, half-frozen and slow. Driveways get plowed corner to corner, walkways shoveled down to the concrete, salt laid ahead of the next overnight freeze. It's a college town's winter rhythm -- steady foot traffic downtown, wide quiet lots further out -- and both need the same clean pass of a shovel or blade. Hassler Snow & Lawn Services serves Greencastle and the surrounding Putnam County towns, including Cloverdale, Fillmore, and Bainbridge.
