Goshen Snow Removal

About Goshen Snow Removal

Goshen sits at a thousand feet and change, high enough that a storm falling as rain down in Torrington arrives up here as the real thing. Goshen Snow Removal is a snow removal outfit built for that altitude, and it keeps the hours nobody else volunteers for — headlights swinging across a white yard at four in the morning, the blade finding the gravel edge by feel. By the time the sky over Tyler Lake turns the color of skim milk, the way out is open and the day can happen on schedule. There is a plain satisfaction in that: a clear lane, a turnaround you can use, a car that goes where it needs to go. Winter on this ground is long, and someone has to keep meeting it.
