Z Cuts Lawn Maintenance

About Z Cuts Lawn Maintenance

The last cut of the year in Gary lands sometime in the fall, on a morning cold enough to leave frost lying in the shade of the fence until ten. Z Cuts Lawn Maintenance runs the whole season up to it — mowing, trimming, edging and lawn cleanups, from the first shaggy push in April to that final tidy pass before the ground goes hard. A mower leaves a kind of handwriting on a yard, and there's pride in keeping it neat and legible week after week: even height, honest corners, no scalped strip along the walk. The trees along the street change color right along with the grass, green to gold to bone. Then it's done, put away clean, waiting on spring.
