Zambrana Family Lawncare

About Zambrana Family Lawncare

Saturday morning on a Gary side street: screen doors, radios, the lake wind funneling down the cross streets, and somewhere close by, the Zambranas' mowers starting up. Zambrana Family Lawncare works the way neighborhoods do — house by house, front yard then back, a wave to the porch on the way to the next address. The work itself is honest and complete: mowing, trimming, edging along the drive, the walk swept clean before the trailer gate closes. In a city of brick bungalows and wide sky, a kept lawn is a kind of greeting, and these yards say it plainly. By the time the sun is high, a whole stretch of block looks like somebody loves it — because somebody does.
