About Wentz Lawn Care, LLC

October does not go quietly in Gary. The oaks in Tolleston turn copper, the cottonwoods let go all at once, and a north wind off the water can bury a lawn in an afternoon. Wentz Lawn Care, LLC works that end of the calendar as carefully as the middle: the last mowings cut a notch lower, the leaves raked and hauled before they mat down and smother the grass, beds and borders squared away against the cold. Through the summer it's the steady round of mowing and trimming; in fall it becomes a kind of tucking-in. When the first hard frost silvers the yards, the lawns Wentz tends are ready for it — clean, clipped, and set to come back strong.
