Snow Mow Worries

About Snow Mow Worries

Miller Beach sits at the quieter end of Gary, near enough to the dune line that on a clear winter morning a lake breeze carries sand across the streets near the shore almost as easily as it carries snow. Snow Mow Worries works those lakefront blocks first, where drifts tend to bank up against porches facing the water, before moving inland through the rest of the neighborhood's driveways and walkways. A house near the dunes needs its walk cleared twice some days, once for what fell overnight and again for what the lake wind moved around by afternoon. Further from the water the snow lies flatter and the work goes quicker, driveway after driveway opened up in clean, even passes. It's a name that says what the job promises: one thing crossed off a long winter list. Snow Mow Worries serves Gary's Miller Beach area and the rest of the city, along with nearby Portage and Chesterton.
