About The Green Boy LLC

April in Gary arrives as a color: after months of gray sky and bare cottonwoods, the first warm rain and suddenly Glen Park is green again. The Green Boy LLC lives for that turn of the year. The work is lawn care in its plainest, most satisfying form — mowing, trimming, cleanup — but done with an eye for what a healthy stand of grass does for a house, the way it makes even a modest bungalow look cared for and awake. Yard by yard, the growing season gets kept up with rather than chased. In a city framed by steel and water, a bright, even lawn is its own small argument for spring, and that is the argument this crew makes all season long.
