About Smith Outdoors

South of Frankfort the land opens all the way up — big September sky, wind combing the bean fields, nothing between a yard and the weather but distance. Smith Outdoors does its work in that open country and in town alike, and the name is the mission: the outdoors, looked after. Fall is the proving season here, when the wind delivers every leaf in the county to somebody's lawn and the last cuts of the year decide how a yard winters. The work is mowing through the growing months, trimming what the wind roughs up, and the cleanups that close a season out properly. A place squared away against that much sky is a good thing to see, and a better thing to have made.
