About C&S Outdoor Services LLC

By late afternoon in Fortville, the streetlights over Main Street's old brick storefronts start to glow through the last of a snowfall, and that's often when C&S Outdoor Services is finishing its second lap of the day -- driveways in the morning, downtown lots and walkways once the flakes let up enough to see the curb again. The crew works from the alleys behind the shops out to the residential blocks nearby, clearing a path wide enough for two people to pass without stepping into the street. Salt goes down on the steps first, where the ice forms fastest in the shade of a storefront awning. It's steady work -- the kind that keeps a small downtown walkable through a Hoosier winter -- and C&S Outdoor Services covers Fortville and its surrounding towns, from McCordsville to Pendleton, one cleared block at a time.
