Kapp's Green Lawn

About Kapp's Green Lawn

Fort Wayne was born where three rivers meet, the St. Joseph and the St. Marys joining to form the Maumee, and the city still feels shaped by water, from the riverfront at Promenade Park to the still water at Lakeside. In June the roses at Lakeside Park come into full bloom, and lawns across the Summit City reach their richest color after a wet northern Indiana spring. Kapp's Green Lawn keeps Fort Wayne yards cut, trimmed and as green as the name suggests. The reward shows on a bright June afternoon: dense, level turf, crisp borders along the walk, a front yard that frames the house the way the rose beds frame Lakeside's water. In a city that takes its parks to heart, a lush, tidy yard fits right in.
