About CK Lawn & Landscaping

Morning comes late to the hollows of Floyds Knobs — the fog holds in the low folds of the hills long after the ridgetops are bright, and a lawn up on the high ground catches first light while the valley below is still gray. CK Lawn & Landscaping works this steep, beautiful country, where a yard is rarely flat and every property carries a little of the knobs in it. Mowing here means reading the slope, following the contour, leaving lines that look right from the road winding up from Paoli Pike. There is real satisfaction in stepping back at the end of a cut and seeing a hillside lawn hold its shape — edges crisp against the drive, beds mulched dark, the whole place looking cared for. From spring's first flush of green in the hollows to the long gold evenings when the ridges glow, that is the work: keeping the ground beneath these hills in good order.
