About Midwestern Outdoor Services

Burdette Park's trails and picnic shelters on the county's west edge sit empty most winter mornings, snow holding untouched across ground that fills with families every summer. Midwestern Outdoor Services works the driveways and lots in the neighborhoods around the park, where properties tend to be larger and set back further from the road than in town. Access lanes and turnarounds get cleared a full lane wider than the drive itself, since a narrow clearing job out there just means somebody gets stuck waiting on a neighbor. The shelters and lot near the park entrance get a pass too, kept open on the chance anyone still wants a cold walk through the trees. By the time the park would normally be filling with joggers, the roads leading to it are open and quiet, waiting on nobody in particular.
