The Grass Guys™

About The Grass Guys™

July in Evansville is a serious month: Ohio Valley humidity you can lean on, and zoysia lawns — a local tradition — thickening into dense green carpets that beg for a sharp blade. The Grass Guys™ cut through the heat of it, mowing at the right height for the grass and the season, trimming tight to curbs and mailbox posts, leaving each yard looking cooler than the air actually is. Zoysia and fescue ask for different things, and knowing the difference is half the job in this city. The other half is showing up on the hot days anyway. When the cicadas are loud and the pavement shimmers, a freshly striped lawn is the best-looking thing on the street.
