Before the Lloyd Expressway fills with the morning commute, Get It Done Services LLC is already working the parking lots and access drives that feed onto it, clearing the ground employees and early customers will cross first. The corridor's flat, wide lots catch drift and refreeze faster than side streets do, so a lot cleared at 5 a.m. can need a second pass before the shops even open. The crew works store by store along the strip, salting the ramps and curb cuts where cars turn in off the highway. Snow gets pushed to the back edges of the lots rather than left in the spaces people actually park in, and by opening time the asphalt out front is clear enough that nobody thinks about it twice. Farther down the corridor, the Lloyd keeps moving, and the lots that back onto it stay open because the work happened hours before traffic did.
