About AMC Lawn Care LLC

Just after sunrise in Ellettsville, the fog is still sitting low over Jack's Defeat Creek, and that is when AMC Lawn Care LLC likes to start. The first pass of the mower leaves a dark ribbon across the dew, and by the time the sun clears the hardwood ridge east of town, a whole yard has come into focus. This is lawn work in the limestone country of Monroe County: mowing, trimming, and edging on ground that rolls and dips the way karst land does. AMC follows the grass through the year, from the fast growth of a wet Indiana May to the slow taper of October, then gathers the leaves the maples let go. The reward is simple and worth being early for — a lawn that looks finished before most of the town has poured its coffee.
