About K & D Hauling and Snow Plowing LLC

Out along the corridor where the Indiana Toll Road cuts past Elkhart, the truck stops and distribution lots stay lit and busy at every hour, snow or not, engines idling in rows under sodium lights. K & D Hauling and Snow Plowing LLC works those same lots through the night, clearing acres of trailer parking and access lanes so freight can keep moving through the coldest part of an Elkhart County winter. A band of lake-effect snow off Michigan can drop a foot on this corridor while leaving the rest of the county with barely an inch, and a crew working it has to be ready to run all night if the storm asks for it. Hauling snow off a lot the same way the business hauls everything else keeps the piles from swallowing parking spots by the second night. It's round-the-clock work suited to a stretch of road that never really sleeps.
