Benny's Lawn Care

About Benny's Lawn Care

Some mornings in Elkhart start in fog, the trees going gray-green at the property line until the sun burns through around nine. Benny's Lawn Care runs the yards in town and out the farm roads with mowing, string trimming, edging and clearing the pine straw and limbs that come down in every wind. A yard can go from soaked to mowable in a morning, and the season stretches deep into fall. Cut, trimmed and blown off, a yard set against the trees looks like a clearing somebody meant to make. That contrast is the whole appeal of the work.
