About All Star Lawn & Landscape

Island Park sits right in the bend of the St. Joseph River in the middle of Elkhart, and on a cold morning the water there throws off just enough mist to frost the walking paths before the rest of downtown has caught up. All Star Lawn & Landscape works the streets and driveways around that river bend and out into the surrounding neighborhoods, plowing while the park's paths are still catching their first light. Elkhart sits close enough to Lake Michigan to pull real lake-effect snow out of a sky that looked clear an hour before, so a route through town has to stay flexible about where the next band will land. Clearing a driveway on one of the quieter streets near the river, right down to the pavement, is its own small correction against a storm that showed up faster than forecast. By full morning, the blocks around the river bend are open and moving again.
