About AJ’s Lawn Services LLC

Down in Wayne County the land stops being a table and starts to roll — timber in the draws, hay ground on the ridges, the Little Wabash working its slow way through the bottoms. AJ's Lawn Services LLC keeps the yards scattered along the roads around Big Mound, where a lawn can run half an acre and end at a treeline. July is loud with cicadas and heavy with heat, so mowing goes early and the deck rides high to keep the grass from burning off. Spring and fall bring the cleanups: winter's fallen sticks out of the yard, leaves off the grass, ditch edges trimmed back so the place looks looked-after from the road. A well-kept yard in open country reads a long way, and that is worth the early start.
