Bob's Affordable Services

About Bob's Affordable Services

The old Lincoln Highway runs right through the middle of Dyer, and on a snowy morning its modern successor still carries the first traffic of the day past subdivisions that back up almost to the Illinois line. Bob's Affordable Services clears driveways and walks through those same neighborhoods, working the short blocks between Plum Creek and the state line while lake-effect bands drift down out of Chicago's back door. Being this close to the city means a storm here can be gone in an hour or hang on all afternoon, and a plow route has to stay ready for either. A driveway cleared before the morning commute crosses into Illinois matters in a town where a good share of households cross that same line for work. Street by street, the same subdivisions Dyer has grown into over the years get their pavement back before the day gets moving.
