Dupont Service

About Dupont Service

Dupont rests in the rolling country of Jefferson County, where roads curve over ridges and drop through wooded creek hollows on their way toward the Ohio River. Winter here often arrives as a wet, heavy snow that clings to the cedars and makes every incline on a driveway feel twice as steep. Dupont Service takes on snow removal for the town, clearing drives and walks so the grade between house and road is safe to travel again. Picture it at first light: the slope scraped clean, the snow banked to one side, a single set of tire tracks heading out toward the day. In a town built on hills, a cleared grade is a small kindness that lasts until dark.
