Wellman's Landvision

About Wellman's Landvision

October is honest in Decatur. The maples let go all at once, the wind comes unbroken across the open corn country east of Fort Wayne, and every yard in town suddenly has an opinion about who rakes and who doesn't. Wellman's Landvision sees the town the way its name suggests — as a whole picture: the limestone bulk of the Adams County Courthouse anchoring the square, the neat grid of streets running out to the fields, and each lawn a small frame within it. The company's work is the patient kind: mowing through the long green months, shaping edges and beds, then gathering autumn down to the last drift of leaves against a fence line. In the amber light of a late afternoon, a finished yard here looks the way this town likes to look — orderly, open, and ready for whatever the sky sends next. That picture, kept season after season, is the whole point.
