Clem’s Lawncare

About Clem’s Lawncare

On a June evening in Danville, Ellis Park fills with ballgames and picnic smoke, and the light hangs on past nine o'clock. Clem’s Lawncare finishes its rounds in that long light — the last lawn of the day mowed while swifts wheel overhead, the trimmer buzzing down a fence line as the town eases toward dusk. A cut yard at suppertime is a small completed thing, and it feels good every time. Come autumn, Clem’s rakes and hauls the leaves that the park's big trees seem to share with every yard in town. The routes cover Danville along with Clayton, Amo, and Avon.
