About JV Services

Daleville sits where the White River loosens into slow water, the kind of current that carries canoes past cottonwoods all July. JV Services works the yards of this river town — mowing, trimming, edging the walks — while the bottomland humidity pushes the grass a little faster than anywhere else in Delaware County. There is a satisfaction in a lawn cut clean on a Friday, the clippings raked, the sidewalk line sharp enough to catch the afternoon sun. Spring and fall bring their own work, the cleanup of what the cottonwoods and the wind let go. From Daleville the routes run out to Yorktown, Chesterfield, and Middletown, small towns strung along the river and the highway alike.
