Heist's Lawn Mowing

About Heist's Lawn Mowing

Late August in central Indiana tests a lawn — weeks of heat, the grass slowing down, dusk arriving a little earlier over the fields east of town. Heist's Lawn Mowing adjusts with it: blades set higher to shade the roots, cuts timed for the cool hours, trimming kept light so the turf holds its strength into fall. Cumberland's yards sit on deep, forgiving soil, and treated right they come back from any dry spell. So the mowing stays regular even when the growing is slow, and by the first September rain the green returns like it never left. Fireflies get the lawn at night; the mower gets it in the morning.
