TBR Lawn Care

About TBR Lawn Care

October is when Crown Point shows its oaks — around Sauerman Woods, along the older streets where the trees arch clear over the pavement — and October is when TBR Lawn Care earns its keep. Fall cleanup in Lake County is a race against the wind that comes hard off the prairie, so the leaves get raked, gathered, and hauled before they mat down the turf they fell on. Through the warm months the rhythm is steadier: Saturday-afternoon mowing sounds drifting over backyards, trim work around fences and mailboxes, lawns kept tight from the first cut of May to the last of November. The yards range from tree-shaded lots near downtown to open, sun-baked new builds toward Winfield, and each asks for something different. Getting that right, week after week, is the whole job — and a good one to have in a town this rooted.
