Sunny Side Lawn Maintenance

About Sunny Side Lawn Maintenance

Spring reaches Crown Point from the east, sun climbing over flat Lake County ground with nothing to slow it down, and Sunny Side Lawn Maintenance takes its cue from that first clean light. April here is dew on everything, robins working the thawed soil, grass waking up fast after a northwest Indiana winter — and the season's first cut is the one that sets the tone. The craft is in the details a passerby feels before they name them: an even height across the whole yard, a crisp line where turf meets concrete, clippings gone before noon. From the older streets near downtown to the subdivisions rolling out toward Winfield, each lawn gets walked, read, and cut to suit it. There is a simple pleasure in leaving a yard brighter than the morning found it, and doing it again the next week, all growing season long.
