Clean Up Crew

About Clean Up Crew

When the oaks around Sauerman Woods finally let go in late October, Crown Point disappears under a rustling copper tide. That's the season Clean Up Crew was named for. They rake, blow, and haul the leaf-fall off lawns before winter mats it down, and in spring they're back to clear what the melt leaves behind — branches, thatch, the gray residue of the cold months. Between those bookends they mow, trim, and keep beds tidy through the summer. From Crown Point out to Cedar Lake, Lowell, and Merrillville, they leave yards the way the year meant them to look: open to the light, ready for whatever comes next.
