Sutherlin's Lawn Care

About Sutherlin's Lawn Care

There is a particular smell to the first cut of the year — mid-April in Crawfordsville, wet grass and two-cycle exhaust and mud drying on the gravel drive. Sutherlin's Lawn Care lives for that opening day and every mow after it, running routes through town as the season builds. The details ride along: trimming around mailboxes and fence posts, blowing clippings off the walk, leaving each yard squared away before the trailer gate clangs shut. By July the routine is muscle memory; by October it is leaves; and every visit ends the same way, with a lawn that looks finished.
