About Roose’s Landscaping

On the south side of Bartow the L. B. Brown House still stands in its own yard, wood-frame and porched, put up by a man who built a good part of this town. Roose's Landscaping works those older streets, where lots are narrow, fences are wooden and the grass runs right up to a hundred-year-old front step. Close quarters call for a slow pass and a steady trimmer hand, around porch piers, gate posts, and beds that have been there longer than the sidewalk. Edges are cut clean along the walk so the path shows its full width again, and clippings come off the porch boards, not just the drive. Old houses look their best when the yard is squared away, and that part is easy to fix.
