Jeff's Lawn Care Service

About Jeff's Lawn Care Service

September in Columbus is porch weather — warm afternoons going gold, neighbors out with coffee, the summer's urgency finally easing off. Jeff's Lawn Care Service is the familiar truck at the curb in that season and every other one, working through the same streets it always has. The job is plainspoken: mow the lawn, trim the edges, clear the clippings, wave back at whoever waves first. There is a lot to be said for work done this simply and this regularly, one yard at a time. When the mower shuts off and the street goes quiet again, the lawn says everything that needs saying.
