About OnSite Tree Services

The oldest residents of Columbia City are its trees — maples and oaks that were shading these streets before the cars beneath them had radios. OnSite Tree Services looks after that canopy: trimming, pruning, taking down what's past saving, clearing the limbs that January ice and July windstorms leave behind. Late winter is the craft's quiet season, when a tree's whole structure shows against a gray Indiana sky and a good cut now buys decades of health. Storm days are the loud season, chainsaws answering what the weather did overnight. Between the two lies the real work: keeping the town's shade standing, one tree at a time.
