About Clear Cut Lawn Care LLC

At dawn in late August, fog lifts off the Wabash River and drifts up into Clinton's streets, softening the downtown brick until the sun burns it back down to the water. This river town, shaped by coal mining and by the Italian families who came to work the mines, carries a sturdy, unfussy pride, and its lawns show it. Clear Cut Lawn Care LLC cuts and edges Clinton yards toward exactly the result its name describes: a sharp line where the grass ends and a level green field where it doesn't. Late-summer grass along the Wabash grows thick in the humid air, and a precise cut keeps it from creeping over a sidewalk or a flower bed. Once the fog has gone and the river shines, the Clinton lawn mowed that morning is the clearest thing in sight.
