About Fox Maintenance Services, LLC

Churubusco's most famous resident is a turtle nobody has proven exists — the Beast of Busco, said to still be somewhere in the lake bed north of town — and every winter that same low, flat farmland freezes hard and holds the snow exactly where the wind leaves it. Fox Maintenance Services works those open miles: long driveways strung between corn stubble and fence line, the square downtown where Turtle Days draws a crowd every June and sits quiet and white every January, church lots and small business fronts that need to open on schedule no matter what fell overnight. Whitley County wind doesn't have a dune ridge or a lakeshore to break it, so snow moves across a flat field and finds every driveway like it was aimed there, and clearing it means going back out more than once in a single storm. What's left by evening is a town that looks, for a few hours, as still as the old story says that lake always has been.
