About Ludwig's Outdoor Services

The Potawatomi called this water the Lake of the Red Cedars, and in late October you can still see why — the shoreline burns rust and amber, and every yard in town fills with what the trees let go. That is Ludwig's Outdoor Services' favorite fight. Fall cleanup is their craft as much as the summer cut: leaves raked and hauled before they smother the turf, beds cut back, the whole property buttoned up tight ahead of the first freeze off the lake. Through the warm months they keep the same yards mowed and trimmed so autumn has something worth protecting. When the last load of leaves is gone and the grass goes dormant clean, that is a job finished properly.
