Luminance Outdoorscapes

About Luminance Outdoorscapes

June evenings stretch long in Richland Hills, the sky holding a pale gold well past supper while the cicadas wind up in the shade trees. Luminance Outdoorscapes builds for those hours — beds laid out with intention, plantings chosen for North Texas sun and North Texas clay, borders and stone that give a back yard a shape to sit inside of, turf kept even and clipped around it all. Design here is a conversation with the weather: what will hold up in an August with no rain, what will come back after a February hard freeze, where a little shade will be worth the wait. The pleasure of the finished thing is watching a family drift outside after dinner because outside is suddenly the better room. That is what an outdoor space is for.
