About Nature's Terrain, Inc.

Wind has nothing to slow it down on the flats around Brookston, and once it picks up loose snow off the harvested fields along the Tippecanoe River, a clear driveway can drift shut again in an hour. Nature's Terrain, Inc. works that reality into every route, clearing not just what fell overnight but what the wind piles back up by noon. Brookston is a small enough town that the grain elevator still marks the middle of it, and the farm lanes running out from Main Street toward the river bottoms are as much this crew's territory as any subdivision. Heavy equipment does the work here — wide blades built for open country, not tight city driveways — because White County's snow rarely stays where it lands. When a lane out toward the river is finally clean end to end, cutting a straight black line across all that white, it's hard not to feel like the day's already been won.
