Brownie's Lawn Care

About Brownie's Lawn Care

On a June evening in Brazil, the fireflies rise out of the tall grass first — which is one way of knowing whose lawn hasn't been cut. Brownie's Lawn Care keeps the other kind of yard: the kind where kids can go barefoot, where the mower's last pass leaves the whole block smelling green just as the porch lights come on. The work is mowing, trimming, and cleanup, done on a rhythm that fits the way summer actually grows here — fast after rain, slower in the August dry spells. Brownie's reads that rhythm and shows up accordingly. Around Brazil, Harmony, Knightsville, and Carbon, a tidy evening lawn is its own small festival.
