About Gerber Lawn Service, Inc

July in Bluffton means starting early — mowers rolling while the streets are still cool and the water tower throws a long shadow west. Gerber Lawn Service runs its routes through town and out the county roads, where farmhouse lawns run big and the grass grows like it has something to prove. Mowing, trimming, edging: work done briskly and done right, finished before the heat settles in for the afternoon. There is a rhythm to a summer of it, the same yards coming around week after week like verses of a song. By supper, the day's lawns lie striped and even, and the whole street smells like July.
