The Lawn Men Estate & Grounds

About The Lawn Men Estate & Grounds

Some places around Bloomington are more ground than yard — a lane in from the blacktop, shade trees at the turnaround, a hedgerow running off toward the property line. The Lawn Men Estate & Grounds keeps that kind of acreage in order: broad mowing across the open stretches, trimmed edges where lawn meets gravel and stone, shrub beds cleaned and the leaves carried away in fall. September light comes in low and sideways here and shows every line the deck left behind, so the lines are worth getting right. There is a quiet minute after the last pass, engines off, when the whole property just sits there looking looked-after. That minute is the point of the work.
